We are calling young people from Year 8 or above. Is Jesus calling you to deepen your relationship with Him? Would you like to grow in your faith and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit? If so, the Sacrament of Confirmation is for you. If you have been baptised and received your first holy communion, please complete an enrolment form at the back of the Church and email it to whitchurch@rcadc.org or give it to Canon John by Sunday, February 16th. Confirmation sessions will take place every Thursday evening. Parents of those planning to be confirmed are asked to attend the Parent Information session on Sunday, February 23rd at 11am at St Teilo’s parish hall.
On Sunday 7th July we welcomed Archbishop Mark to the parish to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with the parish candidates. A wonderful celebration, some photos of the event are below. Please keep our newly confirmed in your prayers as they experience the coming of the Holy Spirit in their lives in a new way: Adela, Amelia, Anne, Charles, Daniela, Gabe, Laurie, Madalena, Tomas and Tommy, and Evie from the Parish of St Helen's Barry.

Next Sunday, April 7th , at 10am will see the Enrolment Mass for those who are beginning their preparation for Confirmation on Sunday, July 7th. Please keep all those preparing for Confirmation in your prayers.
In preparation for Confirmation in July, three adults have come forward who have been baptised but due to various circumstances have not been confirmed. Canon John is running a preparation programme for these three adults which will run in parallel to the preparation for the young people. If there are any other adult parishioners who have not been confirmed for whatever reason, please let Canon know by email – whitchurch@rcadc.org or by giving him your name after Mass.
The Parish Knit and Natter group will meet in St. Teilo’s Hall on Thursday 13th Feb following the Funeral Mass for Mr. Moruzzi. All are welcome to come along and join in the knitting or the nattering or both!

Many thanks to everyone who attended our Craft Fayre, Saturday 18th November, it was great turnout and we are so pleased to announce we raised a grand total of £725.34 for the church. Here are some photos of the event:
