Are you interested in becoming a Catholic? Would you like to be received into the Catholic Church? Would you like to find out more about what it means to be a Catholic? Are you an adult who has missed out on the Sacrament of Confirmation? The parish is inviting people to explore the truths of the Catholic Faith by asking questions and discovering the Church’s teaching in the hope that they may choose to enter the community of faith.  If you are interested in exploring such questions, please come along to the first session of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) which will take place on Monday evenings, at 7pm in the Hall at St. Teilo’s.

RCIA

The RCIA (or “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults”) is simply the process of Christian formation based on our church ancient tradition - it is designed and structured for those who express an interest in becoming a Catholic.

Newcomers embark upon a process which enables them to become active members of the parish community.. The catechumenal journey (or RCIA process)has three stages (the church calls rites or ceremonies) - these act as transitional periods where through time and support, new members can mature their understanding and experience of the Catholic faith.
