Ministers of the Word

The Minister of the Word (Reader or Lector), is responsible for proclaiming the sacred scripture and universal prayer, from the official liturgical book, known as the lectionary. The church has a Rite by which it formally institutes the people of God as Lectors.

As a parish we encourage all of our parishioners to become actively involved in parish life. If you would like to volunteer as a reader, then please do let us know. We will provide the guidance and support needed for you to further consider this important role.
