My name is Marcia. I have been a parishioner of St. Teilo’s for 15 years.

I was raised in the catholic faith in Germany, moved to Wales with my family in 2007, and now work as a hospital doctor in Merthyr Tydfil. During my years at university, I have spent some time working with street children in Brazil in a project led by the archdiocese of Bamberg. Together with my family I regularly attend the 6 pm mass. All my daughters serve on the altar. Both myself and my husband have been helping as welcomer and stewards during the last few years and I have now also joined the reading rota.

I plan to continue to advocate for families and young people of the parish.
