I have been a parishioner at St. Teilo’s since the 1980s. I am married to Rhodri Walters and have four grown up children and five grandchildren. I retired from teaching in 2011, having been Head of Modem Foreign Languages and in my later tears, Assistant Head.
I was first elected to the PAC in the 1990s and have been actively involved in parish matters since then. I have been Chair of the Parish Advisory Council for a number of years, not a role I have sought but one I have been repeatedly encouraged to take on. I have been Chair through some important events in the life of the parish. I was the Confirmation Catechist for many years and am a Eucharistic Minister and a Reader. I am Chair of the Archdiocesan Evangelisation Commission and was recently appointed as the Diocesan Synodal Co-ordinator
I am very pleased to be elected to the new Parish Council as I believe that I still have a great deal to contribute to the life of the parish and its parishioners.
