Message from Canon Eddie
Upon his retirement as our Parish Priest, Canon Edward O’Connell issued the following message to the people of the parish of St. Teilo’s with Our Lady of Lourdes.
“I have now concluded my years of ministry in the Parish of St. Teilo’s with Our Lady of Lourdes and have left for retirement in Ireland.
I take this opportunity of thanking everyone for their generosity and support over the last fourteen years, and for their commitment and attendance.
I will continue to pray for all to whom I have ministered and for all those who have died.
Your support and faith have been essential to me in my priestly ministry.
My heartfelt and grateful thanks as well to all who worked so hard to make my farewell
gathering so warm and loving. Not forgetting all those parishioners -
You will all be in my prayers. God bless you all.
